    concept art 1 makes more sense for DUNE travel.

    I doubt that little ball could role as easily in the film as it did in real life.

    I agree.Remember when Finn,Rey and BB-8 was running to get inside the Millennium Falcon.I think that in real life BB-8 can not climb the ramp that easy and fast way to me.
