Thought I would post this here also because some people aren't really gamers. But they've posted some details about the new Battlefront game which is supposed to come out in November:

• The last section of the campaign takes place before and during the opening segments of The Force Awakens. Don’t expect anything too revealing, because the game is expected to ship about a month before the movie releases.

• The game will ship with several The Force Awakens characters already, but some won’t be added until DLC. Specifically all of the characters in the trailers will be available at launch, as will new versions of the X-wing an TIE fighter.

2 things we can take from this: Tatooine IS the desert planet shown in the Trailer (think we all could safely assume that anyways) and it also says "Yavin: EP4" which to me means that Yavin appears in TFA as well because it specifies what episode it's in even though it's only in episode 4 so far...

 

Going to see some Hutts? I'm sure Han's riled up plenty of folks since RotJ.

 

First off I have never posted on a MB. Of any kind. With that said, I have been following this board for months and really do enjoy reading everyone's posts.

Here it goes, I would like to share some info with you all. I'm not going to say how I'm "connected" or anything like that. What you make of this info is up to you. This is the best way to make sure this has no effect on me...

-the start of the the film is mostly out there. The torching village and the two characters in the brig together.
-Solos have/had 2 children. Only one will be in this film.
-One of the characters that you haven't heard much about is basically a RED Herring
-the Super weapon is correct. Sort of.
-luke won't be a villain(really?)
-No major characters die
-the sith, one true at the start. Then 2 more come about. Then back to 2 by the end. Confused? The oldest one will be drawn out. He won't make it to film 2.

Sounds close to what I've heard. I've heard the Solo's have only one kid. It was put to me that it's not a sure thing, but not to expect any major good guy deaths in this film. I have not heard anything "inside" about the super weapon. My understanding was that the villains were of the dark side, but not Sith, and there were only two at the beginning of the film and by the end there would most likely be one.

 

So who and what constitutes to a major character?
