    May be early concepts, but they all have at least one noticeable thing in common: a cyborg right hand.

    Yeah, that's true.
    But I still think the most likely conclusion from all of that is:
    Luke is seen with Artoo *somewhere* in the trailer, Kylo Ren has Vader's melted helmet on a plinth in his private room onboard the Star Destroyer, and Kylo may or may not also have cybernetic hands under his gloves.

    It's been 30 years, so anything could of happened to Luke. He could of had the new Jedi temple and lost it in a battle, and got all busted up. Looking so busted up and cyborgy with replacement parts, couldn't bare his own sight and dropped off the grid! As for Kylo having cyborg hands, thinking, why does he carry a crossguard sword? A feature to help not have your hands cut off. Someone to find or make that Lightsword/saber, would know of a few that have lost a hand before? Right? I'm in the Luke might be the cyborg corner for now. Who knows, but fun speculating.

    No major character including Luke will be cyborg in TFA. The concept pictures are old unused concepts. This was reported by our own Viral Hyde months ago.

    Not sure why this one won't die.

    I think/hope this is true aswell. In one of the pics, it appears to be more of a mask on the "Cyborgs" face as it edges out and he has a human nose and mouth area. I look at Kylo Rens helmet and would see the same thing if the mouth piece was removd (sort of) I think its just evolution of the character.

    Correct. I should have clarified - they're unused concepts for Kylo Ren. Some versions used Luke's likeness as a place holder. Which is how the whole Luke is a cyborg theory started. They also used Vader as a place holder in at least one piece.

    based on the comic review from @Kyle it sounds like the possibility of a cyborg bad guy making it into TFA is not so far fetched. maybe that old rumor of MVS playing "Montross" could be him actually playing Cylo: see eye piece from concept art and the comic for reference. OR, maybe Serkis is playing an aged cyborg and is actually another copy of Cylo. i think it's also noteworthy how similar the sames Kylo and Cylo are. that's what's bubbling in my brain, anyway. thoughts?
