I found some others as:

- This is the first time Dathomir is mentioned on a movie.
- In the TLJ novelisation, it is also mentioned that the MF computers love gossip LOL.
- Maul used the lightsaber he had on Rebels Season 2.
- The Lando's closet kiss scene was quite similar to the Han-Leia kiss in ESB.
- Lando tells Han "I hate you" and he replies "I know".

Correct me if I'm wrong... was this the first movie where the word "Jedi" is not mentioned?

P.S. Also, perhaps it was not intentional but there is a line Qi'Ra says that is almost identical to a scene from Game of Thrones Season 7.

Qi'Ra (to L3-37): "Han is not in love with me."

Daenerys Targaryen (to Tyrion): "Jon Snow is not in love with me".

 

Don't you mean sequels? After all the opening pre-titles have always said... "A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...."

If you ever saw a strip in the older Dark Horse Star Wars comics, the Falcon travels through a wormhole and crashes on a planet later revealed as Earth where Chewie earns himself a place in Sasquatch lore, with Indy on his trail.....

Vos had two large Crystal Skulls, they were not the same as in the Indiana Jones film. I think there may have been a collection of light sabers as well....

Masters of Teras kasi. I used to play that game in my playstation 1.

I will see the movie for the second time this weekend and pay more atention to the easter eggs that I missed.

 

It was a Star Wars Galaxy specialization a long time ago in a galaxy far far away.

 

Were C3PO and R2D2 in the movie? Because I don't remember seeing them. Also, weren't Tag and Bink supposed to be in it?

 

I definitely want a comic including that event. (I hope the upcoming Beckett issue covers that!)

 

I really hope they're just two actors that are in the background of several scenes, in different costumes depending on the setting.

That would be perfect.

 

Was great seeing the unused/cut decraniated from Rogue One turning up at last. I remember reading through the Rogue One visual dictionary and thinking "what the hell, I want to see that!?!?!"

Yup, I noticed Moroff (or his species) during the Kessel escape too!

Kessel guards were wearing the helmets that one of Saw's partisans wears as Jyn first enters his base.

Couldn't believe that Teras Kasi of all things was mentioned on screen... I know it has its wider usage in the old EU, but I remember it most from that godawful PS1 game haha, where it probably is most widely known from.

No one's mentioned so far though that the Pykes are now captured on film. It was assumed from the Lego figure it was a Pyke, but nothing was confirmed, now it finally is! Loved that!

Lots of twi-leks, a rodian, R2 units, a 'two tubes', Rogue One droids, a death star droid, at long last a female Imperial officer, I love how the dice that previously had just been in one tiny scene in ANH now begin and end Han Solo's story with poignancy, viper droids, the TLJ horned alien species at the Sabacc game, C3P0's criticisms of the Falcon's dialect, the ANH 4-note Death Star theme appearing when the star destroyer turns up in the maelstrom, I guess the "Tie Fighter Attack" theme is now basically the Millennium Falcon theme after its usage in both TLJ and this one, Mandalorian armour in Dryden Vos's quarters, Maul, the references to Aurra Sing and Felucia, ... so much to digest.

Overall it truly felt like the story-group were heavily involved with the world-building of this one, there was so much established external Star Wars media contained within that I obviously feel it was impossible for it to all be from the hands of Ron Howard, unless he's an ENORMOUS Star Wars nerd.

 

Also the helmet Beckett wears in Kessel is the same Lando wears in Jabba's Palace.

 

Just remembered another one... the final scene when Han tracks down Lando on that tropical planet to win the Falcon. The camera panning across the tree tops of the jungle is basically identical to the first ever 2015 Rogue One teaser featuring the Alec Guiness voiceover.

 

I can't quite remember the context, but there was something about a T-15 in the movie... some background chatter in the Corellia customs hall or something

- Indeed he does use the same lightsaber
- Yaaas, it did remind me that scene
- I spotted that too LOL

- Same reaction, but I than realised she survived TCW, so why not? There is a story to be told here...

In addition:
- HAN SHOTS FIRST and there are no doubts
- It was an escape pod installed on the Falcon, damn, how could I not thought about it
- Lando quitted after a some sort of a job on Felucia, another story to be told, don't you think so?
- Han's father was building YT-1300 and it's a nice touch or "You're touchy" XD
- How many prisoners Chewie ate before he met Han? Intelligent creature starwing to death, so rude...


Want to see Q'ira/Maul story and Han joining Jabba's crew as two separated (or not so) stand alone movies, or Benioff/Weiss series, want to see whom kicks that coward's a** out to Malachor...

Actually, I might have an opinion it's the greatest SW story till now, they did a great job. All future related stories? Sold, I'm in - "Bring me Solo and Wookie" (translated from Huttesse)

I didn't recall seeing R2 and C3-PO in the movie. I'm glad that they weren't because it would of been very out of place. If they are in the movie, I must of missed them.

I didn't recall seeing Tag and Bink. They might of been a background character that I missed. I also didn't realize Matt Damon was in Deadpool 2 when I saw it. So it's possible that I missed them.
