    Decided to sign up and join the madness/countdown/celebration.

    I sit here refreshing the quicktime site while my students (I'm a teacher, ethics and philosophy) are doing their exams. I just handed out their copies while blasting 'the Imperial March' through the tiny speakers hooked to my laptop. Talk about a feeling of empowerment.
    My students are fourteen and most of them started laughing with some even greeting me with 'Darth Vader' while I handed them their test.

    Star Wars is universal I suppose. I was six when my dad took me to a cinema in Brussels to see 'Empire'. I have never been the same since.
    I just turned forty and feel like a kid again in anticipation of seeing (some of) the 'big three' again in a couple of hours.

    I hope 'millions of voices will suddenly cry out' in sheer joy soon.

    The anticipation reminds me of the time before TPM trailer broke. I had this amazing dream of the film, which was very far removed but free of budgetary restrictions. Most of it was on a vast desert planet where great empires fought, ancient cities pierced the weird clouds and spacecraft flanked gigantic four-legged reptile mounts similar to the Fambaa but 100 times larger and some of their passengers carried lightsabres including one Anakin Skywalker who was in thick desert robes, all but his keen eyes concealed. Wish I could remember more about it, but it was a looong dream and very fulfilling.

    I don't think I've ever had another SW dream, sadly.

    Sidenote to this whole trailer thing: the so called insiders and sources are not always right. They were predicting 60 seconds and MSW seemed sure about a midnight release. None of that was true. Not blaming the sites, just saying we know nothing til we KNOW it :)

    If you are loading the page in IE, make sure it is the Desktop mode and not the full screen/metro UI mode version of IE. Also check for a prompt from IE about allowing the QuickTime plugin.

    Not so wow at all the people complaining why a "black guy" is in the trailer/movie. Seriously what's up with all that racist crap? Must be trolling or something. Btw lightsaber looks awesome ;)
