Total Film has released two new covers from their next issue, which will focus on Obi-Wan Kenobi. One of them features a new look at the Jedi Knight, who is in hiding during the events of the show, and the other has Kenobi's lightsaber front and center. Check them out below:

This comes out a week ahead of the new issue hitting the shelves, which will feature interviews with cast members Ewan McGregor (Obi-Wan Kenobi), Hayden Christensen (Darth Vader), Moses Ingram (the Inquisitor Reva), as well as series director Deborah Chow. Stay tuned for those in the coming days.

The news also came out as Vanity Fair released an interview with Natalie Holt, who is now officially confirmed to be the main composer of the series. John Williams composed the main theme of the show, completing his roster of themes for theĀ Star Wars legacy characters. According to Holt, it was Williams himself who asked Kathleen Kennedy to do it.

All six hour-long episodes were directed by Deborah Chow, with Joby Harold being reportedly credited in all of them. Other writers that also appear in the credits include Hossein Amini, Stuart Beattie, Hannah Friedman, and Andrew Stanton. The series will take place ten years after the events of Revenge of the Sith, and will feature the 'rematch of the century' between the titular character and Christensen's Darth Vader. It will also be the first live-action show to include the Inquisitors, a group of Jedi hunters, Dark Side users that were originally introduced in the animated series Star Wars: Rebels and also appeared in other canon novels and comics, as well as the video gameĀ Jedi: Fallen Order.

In addition to McGregor, Christensen, and Ingram, the cast will also include Rupert Friend, Indira Varma, Maya Erskine, Sung Kang, O'Shea Jackson Jr., and Benny Safdie, as well as Joel Edgerton and Bonnie Piesse reprising the roles of Owen and Beru Lars from the Star Wars prequels.

Stay tuned for more news in the coming days, as new footage could be arriving soon. It would make sense for said promo to finally include Darth Vader, who will be a key element in Lucasfilm's marketing push. The first two episodes are coming out on Friday, May 27th, and the rest of the series will air weekly every Wednesday thereafter.
