    it going to be goose bumps and just that thrill of the opening bars of music then just enjoy the film but also the atmosphere normally I hate taking and background noise in cinemas but this will be the exception (was lucky enough to see ESB at secret cinema so I am hoping for a similer atmosphere)

    I may have to wait until Sunday or Monday to see this because of work. I will follow the viewing up by reading all the threads on this website that I have been avoiding to reduce my amount of spoilers. I may have to avoid the internet altogether starting on the 16th or whenever the International release date is...

    When the film starts I just hope the environment in the theater doesn't cause many distractions. My face might hurt from smiling for hours on end.

    Fun fact: ANH was the first movie I ever saw in a theater. It was at a drive-in and I was eating a large pretzel and from the moment SW started I just sat there holding it in front of my mouth until the movie ended.

    Spot on with the opening also, the Stormtrooper ships being deployed.

    Goddamn I remember sitting in the cinema, as the BBFC slide came and went.....the iconic blue words appeared....the seconds felt like hours before suddenly - DUUUN! STAR WARS. The rest of the film went by in a dream state almost, but after all the hype, the years of speculating, everything - there I was, FINALLY watching TFA and still not really believing it! What a night

    What can I say, I know my Star Wars, and I know storytelling.

    I felt the same way, it was surreal, because I never thought I'd be as interested in SW again as I was. The story didn't quite roll out the way I might have done it, but it was SW to me. I even had moments where I didn't care about Han, Luke, or Leia so much, I just wanted more Poe, Finn and Rey.
