I thought I'd start a thread for Cantina patrons to share news of upcoming live shows and their memories of shows they've been to in past. Recent or distant.

Just booked tickets to see Supergrass tour next year.

They were one of the two bands that I truly liked from the so-called Britopop era. Great to see them back on stage again. Looking forward to it

    Cool man!!

One of my MOST memorable shows was during ZZ Top's Eliminator tour where Sammy Hagar opened in 1983...it was THE BEST, and the place was sold out!

Another was purely by chance during the local state fair about 5 years ago, and walking by the arena, we saw people flooding in the door, so I stepped in to see who was playing, and it was 38 Special and Eddie Money, and i bought tickets on the spot...great show...RIP Eddie.

I've been a big STYX fan since the late 70's and seen their shows about 10 times, and never seen a bad one, and I go every time they're within 200 miles.

It's been a long time since I've been to any concerts. I use to go to a lot, but people ruin it now days.

I'm a big Seether fan and went to see Breaking Benjamin, Seether, Three Days Grace and Skillet in 2008 or 2009. We left a little early to beat the crowd out of the parking lot. While walking out to where there were pic nic tables there were a few people. And the singer of Seether. We smiled and he winked at us, so we went over and talked to him for a few minutes. He was really cool.

I saw Supergrass open for Pearl Jam 20 years ago, I don't remember much about it really except that I enjoyed it. I never really followed them though.

I've been debating going to see the Stones at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas but I think I'm going to pass even though they're my favorite band. I've seen them live 3 times since '97 with the most recent being 4 years ago. And while each show was an awesome experience it also got progressively less interesting. The musicianship has gone downhill, the arrangements have gotten more boring and the setlists are pretty much the same every night. I'd pretty much just be going to be in their presence one last time but that's basically what I was doing 4 years ago. If the Stones charged normal ticket prices I'd go see them again and again but for what they charge I only go see them once a decade.
