SPECULATION All the Old Familiar Places - And Skywalker Obsession!

Yes, it's a great and ingenious way to please the fans.

I believe the "grave robber" might be playing detective here - trying to find clues that might lead him to where Skywalker (or his offspring) is. If not, maybe these items are imbued with the force somehow, having been carried by powerful force users. He might think that having them might add to his own power. Other than that, he might simply be a history addict, a "fan" at heart. He might have heard legends of Vader and admires him even though he never met him. Basically, Driver could potentially be a "Star Wars fan"!

 

As a "fan" he might want to get the full story - maybe he wants to know how his idol died? Maybe he doesn't know there was good in him and he turned to the light side at the last possible moment? Maybe he admires his killer, too?

Maybe he's like a leech, trying to get power from the mightiest jedi? Maybe he's a masterless apprentice, a ronin seeking wisdom and guidance? It's hard to say . I think he's lost, living somebody else's life. I love speculating as you can tell

Of course he might as well serve Plagueis or some other "Ancient Fear".

 

I have read a couple of places that there are lots of "little people" extras. Thinking we will see someone go to Endor and get Vader's mask and slaughter the Ewoks.

Article said nothing about them being short. This is more likely if not Ewoks.

Although why not use children for this.
