Lucasfilm has released a new trailer for the season finale of Andor, just as principal photography begins on the second season.

The trailer aims to ramp up the hype for Wednesday's finale. It mostly features footage from previous episodes, and the only dialogue comes from a narrator, but there appears to be some new footage of chaotic action on Ferrix from the finale.

Season 2 will start filming this week, but we won't be seeing it anytime soon. Filming won't finish until August 2023, and post-production will likely take another year on top of that. Gilroy confirmed as much in his interview with Collider, revealing that while they could accelerate post-production with more money, it's likely the second season will air two years after the first one:

The schedule could change with Bob Iger (who announced Andor back in 2018) replacing Bob Chapek as Disney's CEO, but it seems unlikely, so practice patience as you wait until late 2024 for Andor's second and final season. Until then, enjoy the finale of season 1 tomorrow.
