Earlier this week, the British Academy announced their full list of nominations for the BAFTA Television Awards, where Star Wars landed three nominations through its 2022 awards flagship series Andor. The Tony Gilroy-created series has been receiving accolades left and right from different awards bodies, and the British are the latest to mention it among its honorees.

Fiona Shaw, who played Maarva Andor in the series, earned a nomination in the category of Best Supporting Actress. She will be competing against Adelayo Adedayo (The Responder), Anne-Marie Duff (Bad Sisters), Jasmine Jobson (Top Boy), Lesley Manville (Sherwood), and Saffron Hocking (Top Boy).

Frances Parker also earned a nomination in the Best Editing category, for her work on episode 7, titled Announcement. Parker has already won an Emmy for editing Band of Brothers, as well as a BAFTA TV Award for editing Unnatural Pursuits. She will be up against Celia Haining (The Crown), Katie Weiland (Slow Horses), and Selina Macarthur (This Is Going to Hurt).

Finally, Mohen Leo, TJ Falls, Richard Van Den Bergh, and Jean-Clément Soret were all nominated for their work on Andor in the category of Special, Visual & Graphic Effects. They will be up against representatives from HBO's House of the Dragon, Netflix's The Sandman, and HBO's His Dark Materials.

The BAFTA Television Craft Awards will take place on Sunday, April 23, while the BAFTA Television Awards will happen on Sunday, May 14, hosted by Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan.

Andor season 2 is currently in production in Valencia, Spain.
