    Who do you think will be the first character who was only in the animated series to go to a live-action movie?

    (I do apologize if this has been asked, I did do a brief search). =)

    That was already filled by Boba Fett - from the animated segment of the Holiday Special (1978) then appearing in ESB. Then as
    Paulo Henrique mentioned General Grievous who was actually scary in the animation.

    I personally would like to see Cad Bane in Rogue One in a significant role. Its too bad they
    killed off Ventress in the Dark Disciple book.
    She would of been cool to see in Rogue One as well.

    When was Grievous in a canon animation prior to ROTS? I could be wrong, but I thought his first apperence was in Revenge of the Sith. :confused:

    You didn't stipulate it had to be a Disney approved 'Canon' animation.

    There is the animated segment from the holiday special (not considered Canon)

    The droids cartoon

    The ewoks cartoon

    And as you said, the Clone wars micro series that was traditionally animated >_>

    I'm hoping for an older Ahsoka in maybe episide 8 or 9. I'm not sure how old she would be technically, as I'm not sure how many years before ANH she existed during the clone wars period. I'm thinking she'd be 70ish or something? (but maybe she'd look good for her age?)
