    So guys, which droid is your favorite so far in the franchise? Mine is tied with R2 and BB-8 I'm so conflicted at times with it, I love them both, what about you guys? Oh, and Happy New Years!

    R2-D2 is still my favorite...and it isn't just nostalgia.

    R2-D2 is great..and even better when with C-3P0. I believe this will only increase with shared screen time with BB-8

    BB-8 was fantastic. It has both the usefulness and feistiness of R2. Kids will love BB-8. Adults will love BB-8. I love BB-8...but R2-D2 is a grizzled veteran. He has served well for many notable veterans.

    I love BB-8, but R2-D2 is my boy. And, you know that he will adopt the puppy that is BB-8.

    Also, you could add the psycho droid that is Chopper to the poll, god bless his little black heart. :D

    It's easy R2 and 3PO. The droids is best together.

    I realy like BB8, copper ect. but they are no mach for the 2 orginal droids.

    IG-88 and some of the cool looking background fellas get a bit of consideration from me. Lots of great OT moments are diminished by epically cringeworthy C3PO PT jokes so my vote is going to BB8.

    Threepio, because he and I were so alike back in 1977. Full of fascinating trivia everyone else thought was annoying, always in the way, and genuinely confused as to why everyone said we were ruining everything when we were only trying to help.

    Everytime i watch this ...I LOVE IT!!! Look how kids LOVE SW.This happen to me when i was little and STILL happen at my age today.Can not explain this feeling...:). I love R2D2 beeps.By hearing them you know his feeling.

    BB-8 shows a lot of emotion for a droid that doesn't speak, he has great moments especially with Finn and the way he tries to wake up R2 is awesome as well.
    R2 is the droid that pretty much saved the galaxy

    And then there's Threepio...
