A new, short clip from the upcoming Star Wars series Andor was shown today during Good Morning America. It brings to life a scene that was first seen in an image released by Total Film Magazine, featuring Cassian Andor (Diego Luna), a character named Nurchi (played by Raymond Anum), and an alien named Vetch (Ian Whyte). For now, it is unknown the relationship between all three characters.

Check out the new clip here:

The context of this scene is unclear, but it could be from the very beginning of the show. Tony Gilroy, showrunner of the series, has revealed that Cassian will be having the worst day of his life at the beginning of Andor, right before the Empire lands on Ferrix, his adopted planet, and turns everything upside down. The production design of the buildings in the back looks like Ferrix, and the conversation is taking place in a rather relaxed environment -- people are walking casually in the background -- plus Cassian is getting very upset over matters that will soon seem insignificant after he joins the fight against the Empire.

A sizzle reel on Andor is also now available to watch on Disney Plus. It contains a couple of minutes of Tony Gilroy and Diego Luna discussing the series, and an extended version of the clip that was released on YouTube a while ago. A new, minute-long trailer is also featured near the end. Except for that trailer, which is new, the rest was already shown to North American audiences that went out to see Rogue One in IMAX in late August.

We are now in the final two-week lead-up to Andor, which will have its three-episode premiere on August 21. Season 1 will be 12 episodes long, each one after the third airing weekly on Wednesdays on Disney Plus. Production on season 2 is set to begin this November.
