    Has anyone heard anything about someone other than Peter Mayhew playng Chewbacca in TFA? Obviously they are using him whenever they can, we've seen that much in the BTS video from SDCC - but he can barely walk at this point. It's an unfortunate situation, but not one that is entirely uncommon among very tall people as they get older. Even without the heavy Chewbacca suit on, he needs to lean on someone just to take a few steps, so I'm think there almost has to be someone else in the suit anytime Chewbacca needs to move around.

    Kashyyyk was liberated some time after Return of the Jedi; Star Wars Aftermath novel sets up Han Solo and Chewie going on a mission to participate in this. Then Han became a family man and a racing pilot until a "profound tragedy" returns him to smuggling (Visual Dictionary).

    There was a new guy playing Chewie in a lot of, if not most of, Chewie's stuff. I think they'll keep Chewie around because he's a link to the OT that can be taken by a new cast member, and no one really notices because it's a costume. My guess is Han, Luke and Leia will all go, and we'll see them as the Force-ghosts at the end of the trilogy.
