Christian Bale Would Love To Join Star Wars One Day

    Academy Award winner Christian Bale recently did an interview with The Hollywood Reporter during which, among other topics like his upcoming movie Amsterdam or the Dark Knight trilogy, he was asked about the Star Wars franchise. He said that he would love to, one day, be part of a Star Wars movie... even if it's just as a stormtrooper.



    Here are his exact words:



    Over the past few years, with the exception of Thor: Love and Thunder, Christian Bale has been quite picky when it comes to the roles he chooses, and they have mostly been dramatic roles in potential Oscar contenders that required a big transformation, whether it was physical or emotional for him. He is one of the biggest actors in the world, both in terms of talent and box office draw, and it's always interesting when some of these huge names express their desire to play in the Star Wars sandbox one day.

    With Christian Bale going back to franchise roles earlier this year on Thor: Love and Thunder, and him already being a Star Wars fan, there's hope that he will someday pop up in a galaxy far, far away.

    He'd be great in a major role...especially as a 'darker' character, he made a rather chilling Batman.

    I'd love to see him as a villain.

    I know people are big mad about Love and Thunder, and I thought he was excellent as Gorr... even if I would've loved to have seen much more of his character.
