This and the other Star Wars making ofs made me want to get into filmmaking. I still have my original Vhs tapes, which are among the very few Vhs I kept. Inspirational stuff, and I still want to be a filmmaker and finally feel that I'm getting closer.
SPFX was my favourite, then From Star Wars to Jedi.

You will learn far more from watching documentaries like that, extras on DVDs, YouYube tutorials, buying a good book or two on basic filmmaking rules and conventions, just watching lots and lots of movies from all eras, and getting a camera and doing your own stuff, then you ever will from going to film school. Trust me.

I saw this on my Complete Saga Blu-Ray. It also has similar vintage documentaries for A New Hope and Empire. It's always great to see such footage.
