SPECULATION episode IX running time ????

Honestly, the longer the better.

I feel like there's quite a bit of ground to cover, and as @TheDarkTight alluded to, more Star Wars is always a good thing.

 

I like this a lot, got excited just reading it.

Rey and Ben in a boss fight would be a great ending to this chapter, in my opinion. This time, Rey asks Ben to join her after they are finished with the threat. They hug, he apolodgizes and they become friends. For this to work fully though, I guess Ben will need to be sorry and want to make reparations for the harm he has done. Or, he could just step down, "diminish" and get out of scene. Go to exile perhaps.

Thinking about it, does Ben have any friends? I guess Rey could be his friend, but could others forgive him, like Poe and Finn? Her mother would obviously forgive him. I see Luke forgiving him too. If Han was around I could see him forgive his son too.

 

The thought I had in mind is that Ben somehow dies but dies a hero saving someone else (a la Vader). I can't see him surviving the saga and living happily ever after, after everything he has done up to this point. Plus, if this truly is the conclusion to the Skywalker Saga, the last person of the lineage, in my opinion, must die.
