Exclusive First Look at New Star Wars Villainous Puzzle Collection by Ravensburger

    Ravensburger has announced the release of a new puzzle collection, featuring five custom puzzles to complement their board game Star Wars Villainous: Power of the Dark Side, released in August last year.

    The collection depicts iconic Star Wars villains in victorious what-if scenarios, with each puzzle illustrating one villain. The evildoers included are Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, General Grievous, Asajj Ventress, and Moff Gideon.

    Each puzzle boasts a gorgeous art style and is 1000 pieces, all set to keep you occupied during the countdown to The Mandalorian season 3.



    This collection is particularly fascinating due to the what-if nature of their imagery, as these sorts of ideations had been previously relegated to the Extended Universe, which many mainstream Star Wars consumers are not necessarily familiar with. These puzzles also display such an affection for the intense and colorful variety of villains the franchise has and continues to offer, and aptly chooses a villain from each major era or section of the universe's storytelling archive.

    The Star Wars Villainous puzzle collection is priced at $29.99 USD per puzzle, and will be on display at the Nuremberg International Toy Fair later this week. The collection is set go on sale this February.

    While at Walmart shopping for my kid, I saw the game in the toys department. I had always been attracted to the word because I'm a fan of star wars villains. Plus Villainous sounds like Vememous, an artist who has done work for SWNN and I've always loved the sound, meaning and flow of that word. Then blam, I see the game which kind of had a role in driving it home. I'm not a big fan of movies where the good guys win or ride off into the sunset which is one of the many reasons I love TESB (RO) above all. Plus. Lord Phanatic is a tribute to Lord Vader etc. etc. blah blah. (dark):D
