    What would Star Wars be without all of the imaginative alien species. I would like to know what designs are your favorite.

    For me, I have to go with (not in any particular order)
    Gamorean Guard
    Jawas. (Very simple in design, but it makes an impact)
    Ewoks gotta love 'em.
    Mon Calamari.
    Ithorian.

    I think we've had a similar thread somewhere once before, but for the record - Kubasz (i.e. Garindan), Jawa, Ithorian, Trandoshan (Bossk is awesome!), Sullustian and Hutts (mainly for them not being another humanoid variant)

    Tusken Raiders and Jawas have a great design to them, rustic and mysterious. Ithorians overall though have the most creative design I think, with their side-mouths and expressionless faces. I'm also a big fan of the Thisspiasian design; you can't beat snakes with four arms and faces so hairy a wookiee would smile. Finally, the Dugs have an underrated design; creatures that walk on their hands and use their feet to do things? Totally cool.

    for the top spot, it's between the venerable Mon Calamari and the Tusken Raiders for me.
    just uncomplicated, compelling, with a touch of enough familiarity that they don't throw us completely out of a moment to wonder how such a thing exists or functions.
