What is your favorite Star WArs Scene? Mine is the scene at the opera in ROTS where Palapatine tells Anakin about "The Tragedy of Darth Plageuis." It's so sexy in it's seduction, with the best acting EVER from Hayden Christensen, and it's so subtle, yet does SO MUCH for the chracter of Anakin Skywalker in his path down his tragedy from TPM, AND shows why he is the way he is in his "shitty" acting in TPM.

i cant pick a scene .....but i like this one .........Lando: Lord Vader, what about Leia and the Wookiee?
Darth Vader: They must never again leave this city.
Lando: That was never a condition of our agreement, nor was giving Han to this bounty hunter!
Darth Vader: Perhaps you think you're being treated unfairly?
    Lando: ] No.
Darth Vader: Good. You know it would be unfortunate if I had to leave a garrison here.
Lando: [to himself] This deal is getting worse all the time! .......

and another one .........Darth Vader: Is he alive?
Lando Calrissian: [checks the readout on the carbonite slab] Yes, he's alive... and in perfect hibernation.
Darth Vader: [to Boba Fett] He's all yours, bounty hunter. [to Lando] Now, take the wookiee and Leia to my ship.
Lando Calrissian: That wasn't part of the deal! You said the wookiee and Leia would stay under my protection!
Darth Vader: I am altering the deal. Pray I don't alter it any further. [departs in an elevator].....i like this scenes because shows a darth vader so powerfull and dangerous

I think, for me, one of my favorites as a kid was always the Luke reveal in the Jabba palace, it was the Return of the Jedi (Roll credits)... :)

I like this from one a lot:

On a more serious note, what kind of question is that? Oh, all right, I'll give it a try.
I don't care what Yoda says about trying, he's a ghost.

    1. The Carbon Freeze!
What's not to like? A hero (my hero) in some deep poodoo, but still badass enough to say "I know" when Leia tells him she loves him. The color and lighting in the scene is pitch perfect, and what a collection of fantastic characters all gathered in the same chamber: Lando Calrissian, Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Imperial Stormtroopers, Chewbacca, See Threepio, Leia, Han Solo, the unimitable Lobot. Only those weird pig guys mucking it up.

    2. The Chasm!
Every time Luke and Leia come to the not-extended bridge, and Leia gives Luke that quick kiss before they cross the chasm by rope...and the music swells....my heart swells. The swing perfectly encapsulates everything that made Star Wars so great; it's infinitely charming, adventurous, fun...just lovely, really. I hear worrying news that Lucas always meant for this scene to have some politicians on the other side of the bridge debating how to best tax the citizens of the galaxy to fund a proper bridge, though...

    3. The Speeder Bike Chase!
Always a fun rewatch, even as I kid I couldn't understand what made the Empire think it was a good idea to have speeder bikes on a planet of dense forest. Piloted by troopers with helmets that severely limit their line of sight. And yet it is also a rollercoaster ride of fun and adventure, with the added bonus of the chase feeling like a natural part of the plot and not tacked on for kicks (see: pod race). As a kid I spent a considerable amount of time pretending my bike was a, you guessed it, speeder bike and I ended up with a nice collection of bruises.

    4. Boss Nas slobbering!
    Woops, sorry, wrong thread.

    5. The Battle of Hoth!
Enough said, this spectacle is just awesome from beginning to end, perfectly edited to show the battle's progress - the Empire is winning - but also showing us the characters in the midst of this exciting event. It's kind of the opposite of the battle in Attack of the Clones where I didn't care about neither side of the battle, nor did it move the plot along or build character.

    6. The Death Star Trench Run!
While it is a marvelous sequence, I actually wish there was more dialogue interwoven throughout, particularly between Luke and Biggs, to draw some more drama out of the loss of Biggs. Some banter between them to further establish their friendship, for example. I do like that we hear Ben Kenobi's voice, and wish they continued with that concept (disembodied voice instead of sparkly ghost)

    7. The Duel on Bespin
Luke vs Vader, No, I am your father, I assume y'all know what I'm talking about here. It's the peak of the drama of the original trilogy and should perhaps be pushed further up this list but "my favorite scene" changes all the time, so it doesn't matter.

    8. Crazy Yoda
    'nuff said.

    9. The Mos Eisley Cantina sequence
    The decidedly un-Special Edition variant

    10. Everything else from the original trilogy basically.

    From the PT:
(vicious) This guy was pretty cool (vicious)
The scene where Anakin and Padme are staring out of windows toward an uncertain, but possibly green-screen-filled, future

One of my favorites is the scene in TPM when Darth Maul, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan unsheathe their lightsabers in the Naboo hanger. Seeing this scene for the first time in the cinema as a kid was truly a magical, unforgettable experience.

Another one of my favorites is the iconic scene of Luke gazing out over the Tatooine desert while the planets twin suns set in the distance, with John Williams Force Theme playing in the background. Many feels, this scene gives me.
