I still can't believe people think Kylo is a Skywalker (Anakin 2.0).

My husband and I firmly believe Rey is Luke's and I believe Kylo is Han and Leia's (he doesn't read spoilers all day like I do so he's neutral about Kylo). My friend believes that Kylo and Rey are twins like in the EU.

Either way I'm okay with it but I'm hedging my bets towards Rey being Luke's, Kylo being Han and Leia's, and the whole trilogy will be about the two of them finding their destiny and discovering that "family" doesn't necessarily mean you have to be related by blood.

I got a feeling Kylo Solowalker will be the only one.

As much as I'd like Rey to be related, I can't fathom why Luke would leave his daughter alone for so long, and the same goes for Han and Leia.

Kylo Ren will be killed off like Darth Maul in TFA, sadly

    Rey will be a Jedi

O.K. In the Chinese trailer, Kylo Ren says, "No one will stand in our way." In the Thursday Night Football trailer, Rey is asked to identify herself and says, "I'm no one." What is actually going on here? Why two references to "no one"?

First, "no one" is actually a pun. Rey's proper name sounds like "no one", though she probably spells it differently, i.e., No-Wan or Gno-Wan. This is a classic pun, traceable to the Odyssey where Odysseus calls himself "No one" or "Nobody" in order to trick Polyphemus. A similar pun was also used in The Lord of the Rings, where Eowyn (a woman) kills the Lord of the Nazgul in satisfaction of a prophesy that "no man" can kill him. Rey is Leia's child. Leia has named her, at least in part, for Obi-Wan. Her name is "No-Wan" and only sounds to us like "no one".

But why does Kylo Ren say, "No one will stand in our way"? Here is why: He is quoting from some prophecy, perhaps one he has heard (as opposed to having seen it written down). The fundamental rule of all prophecies in literature (including those in Star Wars) is that they are misunderstood until after the fact. One example of this would be the prophecy that Anakin Skywalker would bring balance to the force. Sounded good. Didn't turn out that way. "No one will stand in our way" is some bit of lore central to the Knights of Ren, BUT KYLO REN DOES NOT UNDERSTAND THE PROPHECY. Kylo Ren thinks, literally, that "no one" will stand in his way. In fact, No-Wan (Rey's personal name given to her by her mother, Leia, in honor of her mother's savior, Obi-Wan) will stand in his way.

    So whaddya think about that?

Sounds possible but also a little to complicated for the target audience to understand...unless they find some other way of introducing it. Makes me think of a comic with a punch line that nobody got. For that reason I don't think this will happen.
