    Hey everyone! You see the thread title. 100 credits says Finn is, or will become a jedi or what the jedi may evolve into. This bet is designated to TFA only (which is risky being that we may not know until later episodes. But that's part of the fun right?). Are you game?

    It's my favorite TV show, ever, & Londo Mollari is perhaps one of the most tragic figures in all of scifi. Babylon 5 has a great 5-yr story arc that is very complex, plus some cool movies. I see something new every time I watch it. Awesome show. It's pretty deep- but also the battle scenes are planned out and true to life, with quite a bit of military strategy.

    You could binge watch the whole thing between now and when TFA comes out. :)

    As I am a fan of "deep" scifi, my most favorite movie of all time (tied with ANH) is 2001:A Space Odyssey. It's the HAL-9000 computer that goes crazy and tries to kill the crew. I don't identify with crazy computers, but It rhymed with "gal", so there you have it. My avatar is one of the space stewardesses on the flight from Earth to the Moon, where we first discover evidence of alien life in 2001.

    That's really creative!! I would have never thought that was the origin! Nicccce! I was watching close encounters of the third kind last night! I love the scene when he walk's into the mother ship and it shows the inside of it! That scene will never get old IMO. My favorite sci fi movie of all time is blade runner. They are comming out with sequel with Harrison Ford! He say's it's the best script he's ever read!!!!! Oh myyyy! I am a serious sci fi head as well! I have NEVER conversated with a female hard core sci fi fan! I live in a place where it seems like sci fi fans in general are non-existent!

    EDIT: ESB then Blade Runner! Lol.

    I love Close Encounters, too. I grew up in Wyoming where Devil's Tower is, so it has special meaning for me! As for Bladerunner, I have seen it once and don't remember much, I just know that people fight over all the "Special Editions" and "Director's Cut" et al. :) Maybe I should catch up on that before TFA.

    I'm a very hardcore scifi fan, ever since I was little, I read everything I could get my hands on. There are more of us out there than you might think, they're just too shy to mention it, but now is a good time to be a scifi fan, especially a Star Wars fan!

    I just read your profile post about the costume. I gotta check that out. And yes. I am having the time of my life right now! TFA is a deam come true for me! This forum is a huge thing for me. I have never been on a forum that has such awesome members! This place is a real community! I love it! I read you have cats. I have a german shepherd and I had a cat but.........she disappeared for three days one time and I was looking all over for her. I found her behind the house dead and half eaten by buzzards. The buzzards is how I located her. I still don't know to this day how she died. Weird.
