The first 30-second clip from the upcoming episode of Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian, focused on the third season of the show, has been released. More than an actual promo of the new episode, Lucasfilm decided to use this chance to remind us that the behind-the-scenes documentary is coming next week.

The new clip features a voice-over from Jon Favreau talking about how Phil Tippett helped them develop the look of the Mines of Mandalore in the second episode. Tippett was credited in that episode as 'Visual Effects and Creative Design Consultant.' Says Favreau about the legendary stop-motion animator, who is behind the animation of the AT-ATs or the tauntaun in Empire Strikes Back:

Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian season 3 will premiere on Disney Plus on June 28. It will be an in-depth look at how the third season of the series came together, from the early days of writing and designing to the actual filming and post-production work. Unlike for the previous two seasons, where they released eight and two episodes, respectively, it is expected that they will be doing only one episode on season 3. This was also the case with The Book of Boba Fett and Obi-Wan Kenobi. (Sadly, there was no behind-the-scenes documentary on the making of Andor.)
