SPECULATION Flash Forward Sequence

    Just had a thought- Harrisson Ford has been a little coy on any possible returns as Han in the series, but it doesn't make a ton of sense for him to come back in the ST.

    What if, at the end of the Solo film, we have a flashforward sequence with Han, Chewie, the droids, BDW, Luke, and maybe even Leia (or at least referenced in a respectful way)?

    Something that might tie the Solo film to the ST, or maybe just some beautiful final farewell to Ford's character and legacy. I honestly really hope they do this- not having any Han/Luke scenes in TFA was a sore mistake.

    I guess it would be nice to see Han, Leia, Little Ben, and Uncle Luke as a happy family during an era of peace. I kind of doubt it though.

    Little Ben running around the Falcon with Lando, Chewie, Luke and Leia. Lando, Chewie and finnally Han retell the story from different perspectives.

    A friend told me an idea that is just great:

    Film starts with Han, Lando and Chewie in a bar and they start remembering and talking about an adventure from the past. The film would be a flashback.
    In the end they say goodbye and Han tells Lando that he needs to deliver some Rathtars to a king.

    That'd be good, too.

    I think this film has a huge uphill battle in that it is trying to recast many Star Wars characters, including some heavy hitters like Han Solo and Lando. Fans are going to be extremely critical of the choice. I think bringing in a scene with some of the old actors would really soften that blow a little, and help pass the torch- not unlike how Star Trek used Spock, but without a time travel plot.

    That being said, I'd absolutely want this scene to be filmed pretty secretively. I want to be surprised by this, because here's the thing- if I'm expecting it, it's all I'm gonna want to see the entire movie. But if I'm not expecting it, I can feel free to enjoy the movie for what it is and form my own opinions )good or bad) on it, then in the end receive a pleasant little surprise.

    Totally agree that not having a Luke/Han reunion was a sore spot with TFA.

    It would cost a lot. Harrison Ford isn't known to work for free. He took 30 millions dollars for TFA. That's a lot.

    It would indeed. I think the independent film studio (I think they're called "Dinsey", or something like that :p) could probably swing it.
