In celebration of May the 4th, the gaming phenomenon Fortnite has just added Darth Maul, Anakin Skywalker, Padmé Amidala, and other Star Wars-related cosmetics and items to the game. They're part of a Fortnite event that will focus on prequel-themed items, skins, and unlocks.

Fortnite is no stranger to Star Wars collaborations. The gaming giant has included characters like Darth Vader, Boba Fett, and Rey, among others, as part of other updates and battle passes in the past. While the latest update does bring in the usual cosmetics and items that can be bought or earned through playing the game, there are also new gameplay additions worth noting here.

If players find Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, or Darth Maul walking around the map, interacting with them will unlock a specific lightsaber and force power that the player can use during the match.

[IMG] Obi-Wan will grant the player a green lightsaber and Force Push (push objects and players away).

[IMG] Anakin will grant the player a blue lightsaber and Force Pull (pull objects and players closer).

[IMG] Darth Maul will grant the player a red lightsaber and Force Throw (lift objects from the environment and throw them at players).

Additionally, there are also tasks which players can accomplish called 'Find the Force Quests.' Completing these tasks will earn the player 'Galactic Reputation,' which can be used to unlock cosmetics and items in the Galactic Reputation tab.

There are two tiers for the Galactic Reputation tab: a Free reward track and a Premium reward track. The final reward for the Free reward track is a Phase II clone trooper skin.

The Premium reward track is unlocked by paying a fee. Unlocking the Premium reward track means players can earn rewards from both tracks at the same time. Rewards for the Premium reward track include Ahsoka's legion clone trooper skin, the Wolf Pack clone trooper skin, and the Coruscant Guard skin, which is automatically unlocked by purchasing the Premium reward track.

The Anakin Skywalker, Padmé Amidala, 501st troopers, and 212th battalion troopers skins are available for purchase at the Item Shop. These are available to use immediately upon purchase.

Additionally, there will be even more 'Find the Force Quests' added in the weeks to come, with different themes inspired by the Prequel Trilogy. 'Begun the Clone Wars Have Quests' will go live on May 7 at 9am ET. 'Fall of the Republic Quests' will go live on May 12 at 9am ET. And 'The First Galactic Empire Quests' will go live on May 17 at 9am ET. The Fortnite Battle Royale Event 'Find the Force' is live now and will run until May 23 at 9am ET.
