From what I've read/heard him say he's pretty shy. I think he was just overwhelmed.

 

It seems so. In "cozy" circumstances (so to speak) he is relaxed and witty, but the more people there is, the more withdrawn he seems. And yeah NDA pressure must be overwhelming also.

Most important thing is not how he presents on fan conventions, but how good he is in movie, and so far I'm very optimistic.

I also liked how honest Harrison was when he said that returning to franchise after so many years should feel ridiculous. In his speech he pretty much admitted, that he wasn't sure if coming back was good idea. But now he seems to be happy that he returned which makes me even more optimistic about the movie.

 

To see Ford this passionate about this movie really says something because he's not one of these phony actors who gloats about everything. He has talked about the problems he had with ROTJ, and you could see it on screen. As much as we love Luke and how he was the heart of the OT, Han Solo was the soul of the movies as they just wouldn't have been the same without him.

And I love the chemistry between the new Big 3 in every interview. They're the key to TFA as if they resonate with us then we'll all close the door on the old big 3 and look forward to Episodes 8 & 9.
