    Hello my fellow Cantina members! The Rise Of Skywalker was finally released a few days ago and most of you already had the chance to watch it at least once. So, @RockyRoadHux and I had the idea of a more in-detph rating sytem for the movie.


    There are several categories you can rate with-

    The use of this survey is to get an overview of your personal opinion without any discussion and hate. The Mod @Anubis78 will close this thread by the end of January.     My answer, like a couple of other posters thus far, is [Miz voice]Awesome[/Miz voice] for every category.

    The Rise of Skywalker brilliantly syncs up with and builds upon both The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi while also tying together both the Prequel and Classic Trilogies and auxiliary Canon like The Clone Wars and REBELS as well.

    It's a phenomenal wrap-up for the Episodic iteration of the Star Wars franchise and gave me everything that I love about the property and some things that I didn't even know that I wanted (new lore about the Sith).

    I need to watch one or two more times to answer this questionnaire.

    But I think this trilogy is already so close of the classic trilogy in terms of character's constructions, visuals (better in fact), and memorable scenes. The time wilm tell wich trilogy I will love the most (probably the OT because of the nostalgia).

    Its kind of amazing how is the poll doing in here. The ST as favorite trilogy for a big part of the fandom.

    Folks, ROS was objectively terrible. Cool parts? Sure. Nice stuff, like having 3PO back? Definitely.

    But the film was completely horrible.

    There are fans that consider TLJ the worst SW movie ever and others that see the movie as a masterpiece and the best ever.

    And there are people that cosider AOTC their favorites. Believe or not.

    So, taste is subjective.

    Everyone has his/her own opinion. An opinion which needs to be heard by the people who are responsible for these movies. Without criticism (good and bad) there can't be any progress.

    This thread was created to give an in-depth overview of what Lucasfilm did right and wrong for this movie, based on the fans' opinions. If I was JJ or Chris Terrio I would love to see stuff like this.

    Sorry you personally disliked the movie, but your opinion hardly qualifies as some sort of nexus of objective reality.
