Since the episode of Mandalorian, I am really hyped for Thrawn in live action.
Same goes for the epilogue from Rebels being played out here.

How do you think will Thrawn be handled in the series?
Was the Magistrate activelly supporting Thrawn or was her rule only a leftover from before Thrawn vanished into the unknown?
Are Ezra and Thrawn still in the unknown?
Is Thrawn somehow linked to Moff Gideon or is Gideon basically his own master?

As a fanboy, I really hope that we won't get a small series with Thrawn being thrown there as an easter egg in the last episode. Sure, he can't be there since first episode, but my wishful thinking is, that he indeed will be the grand master behing the Imperial remnant that is still in the galaxy and didn't leave into the Unknown Regions to form First Order, linked to Moff Gideon. That is my fanboy wish.
In that way, his presence might be felt throughout the series.

What I expect realistically tho, is that Ahsoka series will indeed be an adventure about searching for Ezra and maybe for Ahsoka to define her role in these times.
Wonder, if Ezra and Thrawn ended up stranded somewhere and parted ways. Maybe Thrawn died during the process, but man, I hope they won't do that... or kill Ezra for that matter.
In that regard, I don't expect Thrawn to be involved heavily in dealings around the galaxy.
Hence, they will find Ezra and probably Thrawn or their fates at the end. Unless they will really pull some twist. But so far, Favreau and Filoni tandem tends to be rather straighforward.
Which is not meant in a negative way, not at all!

But there is the mindboggling thing. Why was Ahsoka asking magistrate for her master?
Was it a desperate attempt at grasping on straws? Or did she knew more than letting us know in the episode, that focused more on Din and Grogu.
And what happens, if they really bring Ezra home succesfuly? Will they live happily ever after or are they needed in fight against the evil in the galaxy?

I can also imagine, Star Wars taking homages from myths, classic stories and genres like Samurai movies, westerns etc. that it might turn out for example like Joseph Conrad's Heart Of Darkness, which in turn inspired the Apocalypse Now movie.
