This all sounds awesome! I'm glad it seems as if we will see Leia still in action with the boys rather than a strictly political role. I want to see her kicking ass and taking names as usual!

 

Yeah it seems like they are really keeping most, if not all, things about Luke under really really extreme special strict security.

They sound pretty damned good to me too! Simple, classic looks rather than too much reinventing of the proverbial wheel.

 

I don't think Luke's being kept more secret, just that his story is largely separate from Leia, Han and Chewbacca, so he's being photographed alone, or with some of the new characters? Bear in mind none of these rumoured cast photos have been officially released, so they're all equally 'secret' for now.

 

I need the pictures into my cranium.

No Leia hair-buns?

 

JJ and Disney seem to have gone to great lengths to keep Luke under wraps. Mark even said in an interview that he had to wear a big cloak when they were on site because of drones (and people in trees). We, also, haven't really heard any rumors that are definitive. All the concept art leaked and spoken about does not have Luke in it. There are guesses that he could be the cyborg character in some of the art, but I doubt it.

He is, also, mysteriously missing from the celebration poster, probably unrelated, maybe.....

 

This s a very exciting rumor, I'm loving the sound of it. I don't know where/how @MakingStarWars got their sources, but damn–they are solid if this one proves once again to be accurate.

Hamill wasn't the only one who had to wear those cloaks though. In one of the outdoor set pics you can see what appears to be a stormtrooper wearing one.

 

I promise these are going to pan out, without a doubt. I knew I had the teaser stuff correct but it was still kind of hard to say what was missing. This I've actually seen with my own eyes.

Yeah, we're not competing. We're friends. Saying he's awesome doesn't insult me anymore than saying I'm awesome insults him. We're both rad now that I think about it.

I always liked the look of the Tantive IV and the crew/soldiers.
Maybe we will see the Tantive IV again, it got captured but now with the Rebel Alliance at the helm, they might got it back.

 

luke is a myth

 

The costumes themselves sound great. That said I wonder what context they come under. If these are their looks when they assume action great. If these are everyday looks that says a lot about the strength of the Alliance, and whether or not there was any sort of peace. I mean if princess Leia is running around in fatigues and not dressed for diplomatic engagements that says something. Now it may be that she puts on the Tantive V jumper and vest when heading out with a blaster. Han's look sounds cool. I was actually a fan of "prosthetic arm Chewie" but its good to hear about him.
