    For the Force's sake, I can't believe there's been no mention on this entire website (at least that I've seen) that The Empire Strikes Back was released 35 years ago today on May 21st, 1980! Yes, Yoda and Lando Calrisian were introduced to the world 35 years ago today, along with a certain piece of information about the Skywalker family that drew audible gasps from audiences around the world! I'd include Boba Fett in that but he'd already been introduced a year and a half earlier in the infamous Star Wars Holiday Special.

    Anyway, whether you're an old timer who camped out overnight to see it 35 years ago like me or whether you're young enough to only have been able to see it on television, if you love The Empire Strikes Back, give a shout-out today on this momentous anniversary!
