    Well I think this is some very good news. Previously we had Cikatro Visago as a Lothal version of a Hondo-type character. And now if Hondo is really in Rebels I think that might mean that we're getting off Lothal soon, finally! At least for quite a bit...

    But actually, this might not mean anything. He's a pirate, he could be everywhere he wants :(

    I could actually see Hondo and his pirates become early members of the rebel alliance. I had always envisioned the rebel alliance starting out as an alliance between multiple factions, some of them being idealist who want freedom, and other being pirates, criminals, or other malcontents who simply dont like the empire. The common enemy (the empire) brings these very different groups together for a common cause. Its not hard to believe that the iron fist of the empire is not great for piracy, perhaps Hondo decides fighting against the empire is a good business decision.
