First saw Attack of the Clones on DVD around 2003. Loved it. I was 7 then. Then went to Blockbuster with my brother and sister, who also had gotten into it, and rented Ep. I (VHS). By then, we were hooked, all three of us. Then we successively rented the original VHS versions of ANH, ESB, and ROTJ. In 2004, shortly before Ep. III came out, one of my sisters bought the 2004 special edition DVDs. I thought the changes were cool back then (*ugh*). Then Ep. III came out, but my parents actually didn't let me watch it back then. I was 8, almost 9, at the time. Eventually, around 2006 or 2007, I saw Ep. III and liked it, but by that time, I had kind of moved on from Star Wars, so it didn't impact me like it might have.

Then, sadly, I moved on from Star Wars for a while until the Disney acquisition. I think this was because it felt to me like Star Wars had sort of been "given up" to bad ideas (the 2011 Blu-Ray changes, the subpar Clone Wars movie...I had no idea about the series back then and how strong it had gotten). When TFA came out, it felt like a rejuvenation and a course correction. I've been re-hooked since mid-late 2015. I now love Star Wars, and the original trilogy and Revenge of the Sith in particular, more than I did before.

E.T was my first ever visit to the cinema, I think that would have been 1982 in the UK.

I remember after seeing ANH for the first time in the theatre, my mom took me to the local flea market. There was this one guy who was selling toys and the ones that took my attention were the Star Wars toys. I remember dreaming of building my Stormtrooper army chasing Han Solo but my mom would have none of it. She said the toys were too expensive so I think thats why I go crazy every Force Friday!

I first saw ANH, at the drive-in, during a triple feature with Close Encounters and one other movie with my mom, my cousins, and my mom's roommate and her daughter. Although, I was terrified of watching Close Encounters, I was enthralled by ANH. I had never seen anything like it before and I begged my mom for the lunchbox and she got it for me. Needless to say, my "stock" went up at school, because not only had I seen it at the drive-in, I now had some movie "swag" to show off to my friends. Naturally, I saw ESB and ROTJ as they were released, always digging the cool special effects.

My interest in the franchise was reignited when I went to a midnight showing of Phantom Menace with @Lord Phanatic back in the early 2000s. By this time, we were no longer dating and were just friends, but at that time, I had NO idea how much he was into Star Wars! (So yes, this is our second go-around dating each other!). Anyway, when we reconnected last year, he saw that I had Millenium Falcon and Star Destroyer Bluetooth speakers and he was shocked and thrilled to know that I still shared some if not all of his passion for the franchise.

Lastly, let me say that as I have come into adulthood, I truly appreciated the "spirituality" of the movie and have actually incorporated some of its principles and values into my everyday life.

I fell in love with Star Wars thanks to a... book. I knew since childhood that there are movies called "Star Wars" and my older brothers watched it though didn't like it. I knew there was a guy named Luke, Obi-Wan and Darth Vader. I somehow did not watch the movies but when I was at my primary school (don't remember which grade) I won two books in some contest - A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back (I have no idea why they did not buy Return of the Jedi too). I've read it and fell in love. And before I managed to buy the last one to learn how it ends - my older brother had wedding and promised he'll get all SW movies on VHS (we didn't have VHS because we were not watching movies a lot). Everyone else was enjoying the wedding (in my brother's garden) while I spent most of it watching old trilogy for the first time :D My three cousins fell asleep sometime during ESB but I watched it all one by one. Then shortly after I saw Ep I in cinema (dad took me), then Ep. II (same here) and ep III I watched on my own, going as soon after premiere as I could (on the second day). And when ep VII hit cinemas I took my father with me this time ;) Same with Rogue One and all future SW movies.

I was born in '86, so I've been exposed to Star Wars my entire life. My first Star Wars memory, was the Ewok movie. Then logically ROTJ, but it wasn't until I saw Star Wars that I really got into it. The boarding of the Tantive IV was the coolest thing I had ever seen. Then I saw TESB, what impressed me about that movie were the sets, Star Destroyer bridge, Cloud City, I was really impressed. Then when I finally got a VCR I watched them non stop, like most kids do. I literally wore the tapes out, they were totally unwatchable after a few years.
