SPECULATION Is the planet Rey is on a surrounded by mountains?

    What I'm really asking is it more like an Island?

    Ok...now hear me out. I'm sketical about most rumors but MSW talked about Rey being fascinated by all the green.

    What if it isn't Tattooine but a place surrounded by water or mountains?

    If you watch the trailer at the end where the Falcon is spinning around to the oncoming Ties, there are mountains.

    JJ is known for mystery(think Lost)and Rey is stuck somewhere she can only fly off of. Luke was only held back by his honor to his Uncle. He could've left anytime. Wasn't until his Aunt and Uncle were killed that he left.

    But Rey seems trapped on this island or planet she can't leave without an adventure forced on her reluctantly.

    I have no evidence she's on an island of sorts but I don't think it is Tattoine.

    Probably reaching but something to talk about.

    You don't have to be trapped somewhere to never get around to leaving. Some people have never travelled anywhere beyond their town/city/state/country. If it is all they have ever known, the sight of a planet full of trees and greenery would be quite a thing.

    We need some new info lol

    I believe that Rey is fascinated by all the green is in reference to the green in the planet where they visit "Rose" or the planet wit the Alliance base. She is likely fascinated by the green because she has only known the sand planet that she has grown up on. All she ever known is sand,sand, and more sand. The green she sees on this other planet is very new to her.

    LOL thanks that one I posted is actual concept art that was actually built as a set of Rey speeding towards the village. Seen in the teaser...
    Rey's for sure mixed clothing of her grandpas pod racing gear, her uncle Luke's ANH gear, and something from Han&Leia..

    Desert regions are known to have mountains here on earth so I am sure that this has been considered as part of the set design in TFA.
