Just found out my first novel is getting published

Hey guys, my name's Paul, from Australia, and I'm a long time lurker here at the Cantina. I've come out of hiding recently and I wanted to share something that I've been working on for a while now.

This is my first novel, a scifi action adventure called 'Ghosts of War'. There's a bunch of info on the project page including story summaries and character bios. There's also the first 8 chapters in full for you to have a look at for free.


I've been crowdfunding it on the Inkshares website since August and have so far sold 267 copies. I had planned on waiting a while before I posted something about it on here but there have been some developments.

Yesterday I found out that it's going to be published, which is insane.

Long story short, they've made some changes to their model that have made it possible for my book to be published with only 267 preorders. You can read more about the changes >here< if it so interests you.

One main change they made was regarding prices. Currently it's only $9.99 (+ free worldwide shipping) to preorder a copy, but after October 30th the prices are going up. It'll then be $20 for a paperback, $30 for a hardcover, with free US shipping and $15 International shipping.

This is the reason for bringing this to you now, if you take a look at the book and decide you want to grab a copy you have until October 30, 2015, at noon PST to get one for $9.99 + free shipping. After that it'll be more.
