SPOILER King 3000 so.......

Most of the staff members, myself included, think he is for real. It was a pleasure to write one of the articles we posted about his stuff.

But this should be merged with King's thread no?

 

I think King is spot on. @pjvader how did you meet Carrie? Was she as hilarious and great as she seems?

 

Yeah, his avatar sold it for me. I think he's legit.

 

There aren't that many spoiler sources that I can read and believe but King is the top one for me.

Is he the same source for all of that information? I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, he's definitely in contact with some people in the know to some degree, and thankfully doesn't pretend to know more than he lets on. When he's speculating he is pretty clear about that and doesn't muddy the waters so to speak.

That said, it appears that one armed or bionic armed chewie didn't make the cut, I could definitely see the scene remaining in tact somehow though.

So far he's nailed quite a few things - and he's not a Scum about the whole thing like a lot of other guys saying they have spoilers. So I like that.

King's source said Chewie's arm in a sling but the line was "what use is a one armed wookie?" We all can see that the Bionic arm concept was scrapped, gotta remember that this concept art was OLD and we have confirmation now that the script wasn't even done until the last second and the Michael Arndt draft never even existed.

I can't remember if it was speculated by myself or someone else like Jason Ward but there is an idea that Chewie hurts his arm in the chaos involving the "cargo" when our heroes deal with the deal gone bad.

 

The script was also being written as they were filming too.

 

Yeah MSW said Chewie gets hurt during the cargo ship sequence. Could mean anything.

 

Well if Chewie looses an arm during the movie . . . that's 2x the action figures for him.

 

MSW says Chewie hurts his arm. @King3000 gives the sequence of Chewie's arm in a sling and the one arm wookie line that occurs in a scene that purportedly will occur after the arm injury. this makes a lot of sense. Chewie injured his arm in the freighter and needs a sling. The Falcon races off the freighter and heads to the "exotic city" to Maz's place. The scene @King3000 describes then takes place. Since these rumors are from two different sources and they seem to line up, I see it as good possibility both will happen.

 

No way he needs both they are not going to dismember him that way, except Kylo off course if confronted it's time for Driver to slice & dice a wookie.
