Now that the teaser trailer is so close, you can almost hear the John Williams in your head, let's talk about logos. Specifically the order in which they'll appear before any film materials for the ST.

We've got Lucasfilm, Bad Robot, and Disney logos in the mix.

I'd imagine we see Disney's first, then Bad Robot's, followed by Lucasfilm... so as to preserve the classic transition from Lucasfilm into the opening title crawl.

Or will Disney say, screw that, we paid billions, we need to make it very clear Star Wars is connected to us! Will we see the Disney logo last with a fun tweak... A space cruiser flies by the castle as the camera pans up to the stars... Into the title crawl? Or we see a quick glimpse of Mickey with a lightsaber somewhere to the side of the castle? I normally hate these things, but Disney has done it for much lesser films. So you've got to imagine they're planning a cute nod like that.

But I digress. Share the order of the logos you think we'll see, and tell us if you think Disney will tweak their logo in a fun way. Thanks. It's almost here guys!!

Disney will definitely be first and it will be there traditional logo of Cindarella's castle with their usual tune that plays with it. I am going to say that Bad Robot will be next and finally Lucasfilm last to keep with tradition. However, it could go Disney then Lucasfilm then Bad Robot because in Star Trek Into the Darkness the logos went Paramount/Skydance/Bad Robot
I think give JJ's respect for Star Wars that you'll see Disney/Bad Robot/Lucasfilm

I think they will make a completely new Intro. But with the same concept. Maybe instead of a star a Tie that flys around the bridge of a star destroyer. Same sound design but in the star wars style.

I was fooling around with the Bad Lobot thing, but we can expect R2D2 replacing the "bad robot....robot" for the sake of the teaser.
Or maybe Lobot, or Jake Lloyd.

I would pay a billion monies... if they changed the disney logo, to have the imperial palace instead.

They changed the disney logo for John Carter... and I think Tron as well... so why the heck not?

All I expect is a full 1/3 of the teaser (if not more) will be logos.

I say for logo order, Disney, then Bad Robot, then LucasFilm

I know this thread is about the teaser trailer, but I for one will miss the 20th-Century Fox fanfare before The Force Awakens. I remember watching a non-Star Wars movie with the audio commentary (I can't remember which movie now), when after the fanfare played, the director jokingly said, "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away..." So, not only is there a strong relationship between the fanfare and Star Wars in my mind, but seemingly the minds of many people in Hollywood as well.

    From www.wikipedia.org:

The 20th Century Fox logo used from 1953 to 1981, created for the new CinemaScope process with the slanted "0".
The fanfare was originally composed in 1933 by Alfred Newman, who became head of Twentieth Century-Fox's music department from 1940 until the 1960s. It was re-recorded in 1935 when 20th Century Fox was officially established.
The Art Deco 20th Century Fox logo, designed by special effects animator and matte painting artist Emil Kosa, Jr., originated as the 20th Century Pictures logo, with the name "Fox" substituted for "Pictures, Inc." in 1935. The logo was originally created as a painting on several layers of glass and animated frame-by-frame. Over the years the logo was modified several times.[24] Kosa's last major work for Fox was the matte painting of the Statue of Liberty in Planet of the Apes, shortly before his death.

20th Century Fox's CGI logo used from 1994 to 2010; still used on 20th Century Fox websites.

In 1953, Rocky Longo, an artist at Pacific Title, was hired to recreate the original design for the new CinemaScope process. In order to give the design the required "width", Longo tilted the "0" in 20th. It was first used on the film How to Marry a Millionaire, released in the same year. The Robe, the first film released in CinemaScope, used the sound of a choir singing over the logo, instead of the regular fanfare. In 1981, Longo repainted the logo design once again, and straightened the "0". The Fox fanfare was re-orchestrated in 1981, as Longo's revised logo was being introduced.

By the 1970s the Fox fanfare was being used in films sporadically. George Lucas enjoyed the Alfred Newman music so much that he insisted it be used for Star Wars (1977), which features the CinemaScope version (but the variation conducted by Lionel Newman, as the Alfred Newman original version had been misfiled). Composer John Williams composed the Star Wars main theme in the same key (B♭ major) as the Fox fanfare, serving as an extension to Newman's score. In 1980, Williams conducted a new version of the extended fanfare for The Empire Strikes Back. Williams' recording of the Fox fanfare has been used in every Star Wars film until Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith in 2005. Since the introduction of the CGI Fox logo in the 1990s, the series used the static angle version of the new logo, to allow for the animated Lucasfilm logo to appear during the extension.

In keeping with tradition as much as possible, I would like to see Bad Robot, Disney, Lucasfilm, and then "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...".

I seriously there will be a Disney logo. Like a poster above me said, Marvel films don't have the Disney logo and the only reference to Disney is in the end credits. I'm thinking the Bad Robot logo will replace the Fox logo with a modified version of the Force theme or Binary Sunset will play over it and the LucasFilm logos
