    Recently it was reported that two new companies, LUNAK HEAVY INDUSTRIES and SPACE BEAR INDUSTRIES, have been set up, most likely for the filming of new Star Wars projects...

    What can we learn from the names that might give us a clue as to what they will be about

    Space Bear could be Ewoks (baring in mind that a sign was seen recently in Oxfors pointing to the "Endor set") or Wookies... those are the most likely possibilities

    Lunak is (from what I have found) an Indonesian (or Malaysian) word meaning "mellow; soft and rich" leaning to the definitions of someone who has become soft from being rich... or fat and rich...

    Sounds Huttish to me....

    It's tradition... time was you could set up a company with an odd name and nobody would be able to connect it to your "real" purpose. Now with the click of a button you can see the registering agent and members, and its easy for people to connect the dots.

    Still, it works to a point. Here are the two new production companies, we can tell that they are connected, but given the names we have nothing but speculation... the scripts have probably not even been written yet, and it is already getting media attention.

    I think that would be reading too much into it... I would take the word at face value of "lunak"

    Anything, however, is possible...

    i heard space bear is an up and coming chain of fast food restaurants so they are probably catering. lunak heavy is probably some kind of heavy machinery used to excavate outdoor sets.

    Both very possible... but since the company members on the registry are the same ones Disney uses to establish production of new movies using fictitious names in order to hide the true project from public scrutiny, I would say it is more likely these are production companies. Still, Disney could be getting into catering...

    Space Bear....I think this points to Andy Serkis portraying a Force Sensitive Ewok who becomes the main protagonist of the ST.

    His name will be...Bear-Bear...and will eventually have to face his evil Sith brother, Grr-Grr.


    Seriously though...that's the best name you can come up with? Space Bear?

    There was a rumor that Lunak was the codename for the Fett project, which is being confused with E VIII... the comment came out that the eighth live action film is starting to ramp up at Pinewood, which some are calling Ep VIII, but the eighth live action movie will be the first spinoff...

    So pretty much confusion as normal...

    I'm, like, 100% certain that any Fett-centric movie would star Boba. At least the first one, anyway, presuming that they did multiple movies involving Jango's legacy.

    So we know that "Space Bear" thing 2 years ago is real and it's Episode Viii's working title.

    Any idea what "Lunak Heavy" could be the working title for?

    han solo movie?

    And, while we're at it, "Tin Can" is the name of whatever Anthology got delayed in favor of the Han Solo movie. I feel like we may have been given the codename to that movie as well, but I can't quite remember what it is.
