EA has released a brand-new video titled 'Coaching Sessions', featuring Mark Hamill training Cameron Monaghan, who plays the lead character Cal Kestis, on how to use the Force properly during one of the motion capture sessions for the video game sequel, Jedi: Survivor.

Check out the (hilarious) minute-long video below:

Hamill is having some fun at this point with his legacy on the Star Wars franchise. He was heavily involved in bringing Luke Skywalker to life in both The Mandalorian season 2 and The Book of Boba Fett, and his ties to Lucasfilm seem to be still strong. We wouldn't be surprised if he was voicing an alien character in any of the upcoming series or movies, or perhaps even the video game. After all, they had them on the set.

Recent news on the game point to EA allowing plenty of accessibility options so that all types of players can experience the game; they include fine-tune camera options to auto-targeting and navigation assist, to slow mode. Some achievements for the game have also been revealed.

The game picks up five years after the events of Jedi: Fallen Order, and shortly after the story of the tie-in novel Jedi: Battle Scars, which is now available (read our review here). Here is the official synopsis:

Jedi: Survivor is out on Friday, April 28, on PS5, XBox Series X|S, and PC. Look forward to our initial thoughts on Friday morning, and our full review next week.

I really think they should ask Mark Hamill to write a story about Luke for a game. The game could be one where you're playing Luke or Kyle Katarn or someone of that stature, training Jedi neo-padawans during the New Republic. They already had some of this in 'Jedi Academy' back in the '90's, which is classic, but I think they could bring all that back with today's tech and let Mark Hamill really tell a story about handing down wisdom, much as Alec Guiness remarked on his role in Star Wars during an interview back in the day.

They make better commercials than movies!

    I kid, I kid! It's just a joke I couldn't pass up.

    Kinda.
