    Is it good to be a Jedi mentor with a beard?

    Obi Wan had one and bit the dust, yes voluntarily.

    Qui Gon also had one and died. Which passed the torch to Obi Wan who decided to grow a beard . He wasjust following in his Master's footsteps.

    Will Luke shave his beard once Rey and company find him? Maybe Obi Wan appears and says"Use the razor LuKe. It is your only hope."

    Could trimming his beard awaken the force? Will Luke survive beard curse?

    A real Mentor needs a beard in my opinion, it makes him look wise and badass.

    all my favorite teachers in high school had beards...even Ms. Nelson (contractually obligated of course). It is the beard that brings us closer to the force.
