LEGO sets have always been a great source of information in the buildup to a new Star Wars project and it looks like Ahsoka will be no exception. Recently, the LEGO set for the Ghost gave us our first look at Jacen Syndulla ahead of any live-action images of Hera's son in the series.

Now, more leaked sets give us a closer look and shed a few little details about some of the upcoming ships for our heroes and villains. Twitter account BrickVault shared some high-res images of the upcoming sets. Shout-out also to Evan Schultheis (@EvanSchultheis ) for showing us these images. More looks can also be found over at IGN.

The first set is Ahsoka's T-6 Shuttle. The shuttle is a carryover from her days in animation and has already featured heavily in the trailers for the series so fans should already be familiar with this ship, but it's nice to see it get the full LEGO treatment. Along for the ride are Sabine and Professor Huyang who seems to be holding a trusty spanner - and seems to be doing some repair work on the shuttle. I assumed he'd just be along to impart some Jedi wisdom but maybe he'll have a more active role to play in the series.

Also included in the set is the new Inquisitor enemy, who the boxart names as Maarok. There is still a lot of mystery surrounding this character, building the excitement until we see him for ourselves in August.

Another LEGO set unveils two starfighters briefly glimpsed in the trailer and sheds a few little details that we can gain for the series.

The New Republic E-Wing can be seen chasing, and apprently trying to stop, Sabine on Lothal in the trailer. The boxart both officially confirms this is an E-Wing and that it is a New Republic Starfighter.

To Expanded Universe fans, the fact that the fighter is a New Republic starfighter will come as no surprise as the starfighter first appeared in EU (now 'Legends')  stories, most prominently in the 1991 Dark Empire comic series where it was introduced as the New Republic's successor to the X-Wings of the Rebel Alliance.

The ship is piloted by a 'Captain Porter', who appears to be a new character. Also, going by the astromech I'd say it's a different ship to the one we see in the trailer and the set seems to be strongly hinting we may get a dogfight between the New Republic and our new villains.

Speaking of villains, we get a nice look at Shin Hati's starfighter which is briefly glimpsed in the trailer. One thing this does clear up is this shot, where we see to starfighters of a very similar model attacking Ahsoka. Now we know who is piloting which starfighter in the series. Not a huge reveal but it's something to keep us going!

One other small detail is that the lightsabers for these characters are red in LEGO, rather than the more orange we see in the trailer. Perhaps this detail was kept under wraps when the LEGO sets were being designed.

We'll have to see if more LEGO reveals give us a few more details to eek out before the series premiers next month.

I'm getting jedi merc vibes from Shin's fighter. I love it. The E-Wing is cool as well.

Something about this series just feels... so nice.

Like, it feels less like a new Star Wars TV show coming out (also a good thing, of course) and more like a new Star Wars movie releasing.

I've enjoyed Andor and Fett, Mando, Bad Batch, etc. But this one just feels like an event. I know it's unwise to give into the hype, but it's nice to feel this way about SW again.
