    My heart is telling me to choose "other" in the hopes that we then will an official synopsis release by Lucasfilms of the movie but my mind tells me no (not anytime soon at least).

    If I were the StarWars.com content marketing guy I would want to start adding entries to the database once a week. Maybe build a whole fan participation bit into it by having them vote on which one of two entries gets to be put on.

    You wouldn't even have to give that much away.

    Week 1 - which character do you want backstory for? And put up a picture of the peg-leg guy in the Maz Kanata castle scene and the alien trader from the Force for Change promo video.

    You could do that every week from now until opening day and create a lot of buzz and excitement among the hardcore fans.

    While I think we might not have anything until a new trailer hits (and didn't someone speculate that could be June/July according to the common formula?), I went the optimistic route and said a new location.

    Personally though I'd rather have Gleeson's character revealed. Well that is to say I'd rather have more info on the mysterious First Order officer at the rally that everyone seems convinced is him.

    I could see Gleeson's characted being the next big character reveal. I'm kind of starting to think that Sydow's will be last by virtue of him being the oldest of the new cast.

    My inner voice is saying that there will be some type of further reveal about a character that's already been announced, like say...a photo of Phasma with her helmet off, something like that.

    I'm having a hard time believing that LFL/Disney/Abrams is going to give much more than single bites of information, and (as much as we'd like), I doubt that we'll get too much more info on the backstory at all. Press release shots will come, and of course 1-3 trailers but they'll hold their cards VERY close to their chests until you see it on the big screen. :)

    Agreed. Even small tidbits that are completely inconsequential to main storyline (of course the fans wouldn't know that) would keep the fans coming back for more....it will me!!

    I think we will get an official C-3PO picture soon. Given the leaked furniture with him on it and now the Toys R Us bedspread with Kylo on it, I think sooner than not they will officially release him, so they can start advertising things with him on it.

    I'll go with info on the First Order and Resistance. Seems like a safer thing to release than anything on the characters or plot itself. A little background on what's been going on the last 30 years would be nice.

    I think it would be cool if they would release a tid bit of backstory for every character in the picture of the "pirates" in Maz's castle. It would be fun even if it is completely irrelevant with the story.

    They so far have been revealing stuff the rumors and general speculation have nailed pretty tightly. And they have been playful and mysterious with things that are not nailed down well. Based on that I don't think you will hear about Gleeson he is too much a wild card. You might, might get a picture but not more than that. Too much unknown about MVS why end the speculating that drives people searching. Here is what I would guess;

    1- More pirates supposedly we have only sene 1/3rd. It would not surprise me to see names mentioned or different pirates.
    2- Full picture of Maz. You know she exists you know the name. You have seen that she is small, orange alien of unconfirmed species. Seeing a better shot of her would create huge buzz but answer no questions.
    3- A picture of Princess Leia with some extras. This would be click bait and create more questions than answer. It would start new theories like is she the Queen of Alderanean survivors, the whole Republic, is it a title but she is in the resistance and thus is a queen in exile, and so on.

    I want something dark

    More voice of uber, a shot of max before she gives backstory, ren about to commit a crime.

    Then maybe sad shots of heroes and voice over about hope of some kind


    Then end with more falcon vs tie
