    Hi guys. So a lot of you probably read the multiple "leaks" by Spoiler Man on Reddit and 4chan earlier in December. Many have said he is a fake and others have said he may be real; I for one am on the fence.

    In one of his posts, he said that by the end of December we'll either get 1) a new teaser, with the original cast in it or 2) promotional images of Han Solo

    Well, it's the New Year, and we still haven't gotten either of those things. Does this mean that Spoilerman is a fake? Because some of the stuff he said is actually believable and could make for an awesome storyline for the new trilogy. Thoughts?

    Well he was not a figment of your imagination. So yes he exits;)

    I do not buy his story. From what I could tell he was someone who looked at a lot of existing rumor and shared what he thought made sense. Because he was playing with existing stories it created a sense of confirmation. Because he made some clever Star Warsy predictions lots of people bought it. In the end the "art" was suspect. Andy Serkis flatly denied some of things he said about his character. In the end things did not add up for him. His stuff got picked up by more than one fan site and it ended up with media attention, the UK Guardian was the most notable I remember but lots of places were just rehashing the same story. In the end he was a fan who pulled off a major coup by getting the international media attention or he does in fact for Lucasfilm and his purpose was to make things less clear by burying a few actual facts in a bunch or false ones (he was the disinformation plan he warned of).

    That's what I'm wondering. I saw the concept art, and maybe that's what he was referring to? I just don't know what to think anymore.

    I think it is pretty much universally accepted that he was a fraud with no new legitimate info. Just conjecture mixed in with some already eatablished rumors.

    Fake art that he/she stole
    Fake rumours that he/she blended into pre-established rumours to try and show off as "in the know"
    Constant conjecture about fake accounts on social media and how he/she was the victim of XYZ

    Just a troll looking for 10 mins of internet attention before the web of lies collapsed.
