FAKE! Potential Episode 8 Plot Leak?

Yeah, that sounds "unlikely" to say the least.

 

An entertaining read, but a full story leak this early in production seems pretty unlikely. I can't imagine too many people having access to the complete story at this point. Maybe in a year from now, but it just seems to early to get a leak like this.

 

It was all over when they said the Snoke was Palpatine

 

I love the idea of Rey's dream...too bad it lost all credibility when the word "Palpatine" was written

 

Yeah I mean a few things there seem kind of interesting, but they're all things that fans have already speculated about (which makes the "scoop" all the less credible). Also the idea that Rey would just run off and leave all of her friends behind just to chill with FG Yoda and Obi Wan (whom she's never even met before) sounds kind of lame as well. Also there's no tension in that script, as the bad guys pretty much lose across the board.

Finding 75+ year old Lando because they want a new general for the Resistance?
Rey building a new blue lightsaber when there's a perfectly good blue lightsaber already available to her?
Snoke = Palpatine?
The Resistance are still based on D'Qar?

This stuff is awful level fan fiction.

 

Am I supposed to buy that Luke wouldn't be able to sense that Snoke=Sheev immediately? That just him looking different would be enough to fool Luke?

Well if it was a cool double-bladed one, then ok fine. But I still would prefer that it not be blue.

 

By my understanding, double-edged lightsabers are literally 2 lightsaber attached together, which would mean you would need 2 crystals.
So unless she salvages Anakin's lightsaber to get the 2nd crystal, then it's just a single bladed saber.

Even if Snoke is really Palpatine, how did he grow in size?

Where's the twists and turns that are supposedly in Rian's script?

Also, as some of you have said, 75+ Lando hiding for some unknown reason and still managed to have a kid and all and conveniently showing his face he second they ask for names doesn't make any sense if he is in hiding .

 

That dream Rey has with Kylo and the Knights of Ren sounds interesting, but Snoke actually being Palpatine is really unlikely. If they were to use Palpatine again you would think they would have Ian McDiarmid involved. Plus I would think getting thrown down a giant hole in an exploding Death Star would do more then just deform you a little more than before.

I also don't think Lando will feature as prominently in Episode VIII as this is implying. I mean most of Episode VII revolved around looking for Luke so I doubt they will repeat that in VIII with Lando. Overall very interesting read but I highly doubt this is the actual script.

 

So at the end of TFA, Rey goes away to train as a Jedi, and then at the end of Episode 8... Rey would go away to train as a Jedi?

So you're telling me not only is Palp alive but he used the force to survive INSIDE OF AN EXPLODING DEATH STAR and floated off to safety?

Palpatine is dead.

Some good ideas here but this script is awful and poorly constructed.

Like others have said, too early for a leak of a full script synopsis.

 

oh sweet, so ep 8 is gonna be 40 minutes long and boring the whole way through? can't wait!
