I also liked the Han/Leia dialogue. C3PO's was good in issue 1. He did have some lines that were a bit strange, but I think that was for expostional purposes. In issue 2, he was spot on!

Yeah, I think it was the scene when they were landing in 1 that just seemed a little disjointed with the over-the-top exposition which could have been done differently, but it's a minor issue for me really!

I agree. Overall everything has been fantastic imho. Of course we all nitpick sometimes ... but it's just that nitpicking.

Sorry guys. Hope I didn't come off as a Han and Leia hater. It just felt tedious because there was such an interesting scene, Luke and Vader, that it was taking away from. I've read it again and I feel I was a little hard on it. The writers did a good job with the obligatory Leia and Han heckling.

@Kyle your review was great. Everybody takes tgings differently. Some will like something and others will completely hate it ... and vice versa. The discussion is civil and interesting. I know TFA is going to have people debating likes and dislikes, even more under a microscope. Looking forward to the next review. Are you reviewing the Vader and Leia comics as well?

Every good review needs to point out flaws and admittedly the Han/Leia stuff did break the pace somewhat, but as DarthZloi so aptly put, everyone has their own opinions! I am likewise looking forward to the Vader stuff in particular and also your next great review! :D

I enjoyed the first issue a lot, the second not so much. It is good comic book, but it seems to me more as filler.
Dark Empire, Shadows of The Empire or Clone Wars, these were epic and great series with awesome art,
but I have a feeling that this series takes a more episodic to be continued format ala Rebels and won't go in great depths.
But that is just my feeling, I hope that this series will be bigger and more epic in future.

Well, that AT-AT stuff was little off to me, that Vader confrontation was shorter than I expected and I thought that it will have bigger impact based on preview pages.
But it isn't bad comic, tough I prefer the Rebels right now, even with the Lothal trope.

I just read issue #3 and it looks like the Cymoon 1 arc is finished up...wonder what's next? It was cool to see that JJ's mystery box has been inserted into the new Star Wars canon ;). @Kyle, I can't wait for your review!

Thank you. It's finished and should be up soon today. I agree with you and was thrilled by this issue. Marvel is killing it(in a good way)!

I hear ya. A local comic/video game store holds every Star Wars related comic for me each week as they come out. I'm known as "The Star Wars Guy"...I go to the shop every Wednesday on my lunch break and ask for my copy. For a while they were like, "Oh, you're the Star Wars guy..." Now they have come to expect me every week. I read other comics quite a bit, but I usually get them digitally. It's nice to actually walk in to a comic shop once a week. I just have to get my hands on physical copies of the new Star Wars stuff, especially when it comes with a free digital d-load through the Marvel app. Can't beat it. :) Looking forward to Vader #3 and Kanan!

Yeah it was a good one. Can’t wait to find out what is inside the case from Obi-Wan. Seems a little odd that he would just leave it outside his house when there are scavengers everywhere.

I thought so at first, too, until I made the association that even hardcore criminals who will screw over Jabba and avoid his taxes still stay away from Kenobi's place. Seems he has quite the reputation and is left alone by all, whether they see him or not.

Well it's a little late but I decided I needed to take a few hours out of my exam revision time to make this :)
