Rey to rescue Poe from 'Death Star'?

This may be spoilerish, but it's speculation. I was just watching the international trailer and so it seems BB-8 isn't Rey's droid since the trailer shows them meeting. But in the trailers we also see BB-8 in the astromech slot on Poe's X-Wing. So this got me thinking, could it be that BB-8 is Poe's droid, and will end up on Jakuu as R2 ended up on Tatooine. Poe is captured, and is on the New Death Star like Leia in the OT. So we juxtapose Luke and Leia with Rey and Poe. We know Kylo looks to be using the Force to 'extract information' from Poe in one scene; this echoes Vader and the mind-probe scene in the OT where the orb floats in and the door closes.

So could it be that Rey will encounter BB-8, who contains important info. She learns of Poe being captive on the New Death Star and she goes there and rescues Poe and then they escape and, back to the Rebel Base and everything.

Do you think Rey will rescue Poe like Luke rescued Leia? If so, maybe Poe and Rey are brother and sister since so were Luke and Leia? Has this already been speculated?

 

Okay just for speculative entertainment, let's say we're going to pretty much follow the OT storyline:

First thing to happen in the movie is Poe's ship is captured by the Empire.
He sends BB-8 to Jakuu with a message for Han who is on Jakuu with Chewie.
Rey is then shown doing her things, scavenging, and meets BB-8.
BB-8 goes back to Rey's home with her.
Empire comes looking for the droid.
BB-8 leads Rey to Han.
Han tells Rey about the Force, and her father(?)
Empire destroys Rey's settlement.
Rey agrees to help Han rescue Poe, and they go to the pirate castle (Mos Eisley) for information. Maybe the "Chewie we're home" scene?

The trailers make it look like Finn crashes on Jakuu like the droids did in the OT. It shows Finn meeting Rey on Jakuu. So Finn is in there, it would just seem they're tweaking the storyline with Finn. Maybe Finn and BB-8 escape at the beginning? That might explain how the two interact early in the movie. It doesn't look like Finn and BB-8 are together in the trailers, though. But they both seem to be on Jakuu unwillingly in some part. So Finn would be along in the story, but it would be different in that aspect to the OT storyline. But BB-8 and Finn both meet Rey on Jakuu, that's in the trailers. Then BB-8 takes them to deliver the message to Han, and that's the scene in the trailer where Finn and Rey are talking with Han. Both Rey and Finn would be a part of the rescue mission. I guess that would make Han Ben Kenobi?

The reason I'm even speculating this is because the scenes in the trailers seem to be echoing scenes from the OT. Poe has clearly been captured by Kylo Ren just as Leia was captured by Vader. Rey is looking into the distance like Luke. Han is talking about the Force like Kenobi. Ships attacking the Death Star trench. Rey meets BB-8 on Jakuu like R2 met Luke on Tatooine. So it just occured to me what if we place them in the same sequencing as the OT storyline, so the order of the scenes (in which the occur in the movie) is something like:

Finn? crashing on Jakuu, spinning TIE fighter (3po and R2 in spinning escape pod)
BB-8 on Jakuu (R2 on Tatooine)
Rey on Jakuu, scavenging (Luke moisture farming)
Rey meeting BB-8 and Finn (Luke meets R2 and 3po) though it doesn't seem Finn is a 3po counterpart but a new character idea
First Order torching settlement (Empire burns Luke's home)
Rey and Finn lead by BB-8 to Han the "crazy old man" the Force it's true, all of it.
Ren extracting information from Poe (rebel base location?)
Death Star red beam forest blowing up (Alderaan)
Falcon being chased on Jakuu.
Pirate castle.
Forest scenes, Rey seeing ships overhead. (Empire chasing Han Luke Kenobi out of Mos Eisley)
etc.
But it would be a good foil to the OT I think, reversing the situation of Luke and Leia empowers the female lead just like it empowered the male lead in the OT.

It can't entirely the same because if Poe is in the place of Leia in needing rescued from the Death Star, he's also in the place of Luke in that he's in the X-Wing with the astromech assaulting the Death Star (after being rescued from it by Han, Chewie, Finn, Rey and BB-8?). So it's being mixed up a little. I'd speculate about 50% being the same storyline structure as the OT and 50% new storyline. I don't know if that's what it's going to be, but it's seeming like it to me. I think it could work really well. Enough similarity to echo the OT(old) mixed with enough difference to make it have its own feel(new). The film is about old transitioning into new, after all.

But like I said pure speculation based on intuitive conjecture and a lot of free time.
