    Why screams ? It seems like horrific ones ...

    Why did Abrams put this in the movie, what was the reference and the symbolic there ?

    Past of the saber, giving birth ?

    The screams are girl's voice yelling "No!". It's Rey while being left on Jakku. How else do you film a call of the Force/lightsaber? She had to get to that basement somehow. I don't think it's anything more complicated than that. :)

    I think it is exactly what Lady Musashi said. It sounds the same as young Rey screaming No, come back. It is the same voice.

    The leaked script (for the WGA) suggests that it is little Rey. The sound of a young girl in anguish and crying is what it says.

    She was hearing the screams BUT i think in someway she know is was herself.In other words there was SOMETHING "familiar" on hearing them down the stairs.Look at her eyes.What i found interesting is when Rey touch the LS the first thing that you hear(and she hear too)was Darth Vader breathing sound.That must be SOMETHING.Rey vision is FULL of important information.It was the BEST part in the movie...:).

    The screams started as soon as Finn was walking out the door of Maz's tavern is all he's saying. @jedimasterjohnny kind of makes it sound as though it happens twice, but it's just the one time.

    on my third re watch I will be listening out for this part again but could those screams also come from the children Anakin killed in RotS with this lightsaber (as well as Rey screams of no at being left on Jakku) or is that a bit to dark
