RUMOR Shadow Troopers?

it would seem cloaking technology is quite the trend! between chrome troopers and black x-wings, it's looking like an invisible arms race. although being invisible can be quite an advantage, a trained jedi would be able to detect a cloaked person or ship, right? unless they have new technology that blocks a jedi's ability to detect changes in the force... that would make a pretty burly baddy!

 

Most tech advances from during times 9 war and smaller components do the same thing that room sized computers did 30 years ago I would expect this is what we are seeing. Perhaps this is to pull the OT off but starting to modernize fleets. I ddon't know I'm just talking out of my ass. But I do like the idea

Weren't there Shadow Troopers in Star Wars: Battlefront 2?

 

They weren't. They were in The Force Unleashed.

But it will be great to see what Episode VII does with them.

 

I could have sworn you could play as a black trooper in battle front 2, but I remember the ones in the force unleashed.

 

The ones in battlefront 2 were dark troopers, the ones with jump packs

 

That's right. I remember now.

 

There were Shadow Troopers in Jedi Outcast, but those used lightsabers instead of blasters.

As for the possibility of Shadow Troopers in EP7, well... I kind of like the idea but I hope they don't make the mistake of introducing too many new trooper-classes at once.

 

Technically they were in JK2 first.
