Skeleton Crew has a firmer release window! While speaking with Collider at CCXP, executive producer Jon Watts said that the upcoming Disney Plus series will premiere sometime around Christmas, or December 25. The holiday actually falls on a Wednesday this year, so there may be a Jude Law-sized present in your stocking!

Of course, anything is still possible until Lucasfilm announces a date. The Christmas season window does align with previous reports that the series was targeting late 2024. Actor Dane DiLiegro, who has an undisclosed role in the series, recently said he thinks Lucasfilm would aim for November to take advantage of the holidays.

Not much is known about the series beyond that it will feature a group of four children (played by Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Kyriana Kratter, and Robert Timothy Smith) getting lost in the galaxy. They cross paths with Jude Law, who is playing a Force-sensitive character. It was initially thought he was taking on the role of a Jedi, but Law has previously cast doubt on that prospect. The series is set in the timeframe of The Mandalorian, with season 3's Vane confirmed to return. Other cast members include Kerry Condon, who recently praised the children for their work.

Before Skeleton Crew, Star Wars fans have The Acolyte to look forward to. The series' two-episode premiere drops on Disney Plus on June 4. The cast and crew will be at CCXP in Mexico this weekend to talk about the series. Elsewhere, Collider is hosting a director's panel at the convention with Jon Watts. Hence, there may be more Skeleton Crew news on top of everything else we're getting to celebrate Star Wars.

Keep it here all May the 4th weekend for all the latest, and may the Force be with you!
