    Hadn't seen anyone talk about this yet. If you have, I apologize...

    Just a few days ago I was listening to the Tron: Legacy soundtrack and hearing the music in this trailer, to me, REALLY has this cool Daft Punk meets John Williams thing going on and I dig it. Judging by the posters, the look and the music it really feels like they are marketing this a lot toward a younger crowd, which isn't a bad thing.

    What do you guys think of the music?

    It's trailer-music, so it is marketing for a 'younger' audience, yes. Also they try their best to make it as 'not TLJ' as possible. And they succeed.
    The soundtrack of the movie itself will be much different I suppose.

    Well this could all be music just for the trailer which pretty common so it's a bit hard to judge but if this is at least the style of music they are goring the I like it.
    But I'm going to wait for the soundtrack release befor making my final judgment on the score.

    I still don't like the trailer soundtrack, but I could live with someting similar to it for the actual movie. But I doubt it. This was just trailer music. Do we know who is composing the score for Solo?

    Love the trailer music. I am hoping it's in this style. It doesn't like it's trying to sound young. It sounds intense and like a crime caper/thriller. I'm diggin it.

    Well it is nice, has a good vibe to it. Though I think the actual score will be a bit more traditional now that Williams is actually scoring the main theme. The composition itself reminded me a bit of the musical structure of the new Sicario trailer:

    Not a fan of the music in the teaser, but it doesn't bother me. It's just a cliche, noisy trailer track. Previous Star Wars trailer scores sounded more inspired for the most part.

    The proper score will be classic orchestral music for sure and I would hate to hear anything different in a Star Wars film.

    Sure, John Powell. Williams is writing a theme for Han.
